I've been kind of out of it this week and haven't been posting or commenting this week. I try to keep up with a lot of blogs but sometimes when I step away for a while it's hard to get back on track. I'm going to try to be better. :) Next week is Spring Break and I am desperately in need of some time away from work.
Well...for this weeks Dogs on Thursday, I wanted to share a picture of Abby. Here is a picture of my stinky dog laying in bed and look at that face. You know she knows she's not supposed to be there. This reminds me why I try to make my bed when I get out of it. :) Jackjack does the same thing. She is too cute!!
Well...I missed the Thankful Tuesday and Wedding Wednesday post this week. I'm sorry. We haven't really been doing much planning lately. Other than narrowing down the guest list and sending the save the dates, we haven't done much. We are thinking of details but haven't' actually made any decisions. I hope to have something to share next week.
I hope everyone is having a great week!! I'm ready for the weekend and the start of Spring Break!!
Ah, yes... but that's why we love our stinky dogs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling girl. Mugsy will actually UN-make beds, and as I witnessed last night, he's teaching Sissy to do the same. Sigh. The Knight will have another excuse *NOT* to make the bed...
ReplyDeleteyou think YOU have a stinky dog...you should have seen what my little Remy-girl did yesterday....
ReplyDeleteWe spent a whole hour at the dog park. She was very good about not going into the lake left by snowmelt the whole time. Then, just as we were getting ready to leave, she started on a zoomy-fest and not only splashed around in the puddle, but LAY DOWN in it! Not to mention luring Payton in, though with his short hair, nothing really sticks to him.
No bed for her! (though to be fair, they aren't allowed on her bed, and we didn't kick her off the couch, with her soggy, stinky self...) :-)
I conceded defeat long ago. Now I sleep on a sliver of mattress at the edge with one tzu between my feet, one tzu on my hair, and four big paws pushing my back. A couple weeks ago I had to leave them overnight at the kennel. I thought I would toss & turn, but no...it was heaven!
ReplyDeleteAbby is NOT stinky...she wears Ode de Doggette a personalized parfumee appreciated by doggies everywhere (Wilbur & Charlotte told me to say that)
ReplyDeleteps they also said doggies should sleep in their persons bed all the time ;)
Why is it that dogs are soooo cute when they are being bad. I guess so we won't punish them. Of course ABner and Django rule the roost at our house.
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are so sweet. I am so excited--we had our dog put to sleep 2 years and 9 months ago and have yet to get another one. Tomorrow I am bringing home a 2 year old, house trained, Fixed loveable jack russell. We have dog sat her and she is a sweet dog. My daughter's--one of 2--this one did not adjust well to the new baby. So we will once again have a dog.
ReplyDeleteGotta love sleeping puppies! Mine will sleep on my bed whether it's made or not.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful spring break! And weekend.
She is so cute! Stinky or not!
ReplyDeleteAbby is such a little darlin'. I love that look of guilty pleasure on her face. She is enjoying every single second in case she gets kicked off. Charlotte does the same exact thing. I have to make my side of the bed as soon as I get up, because seconds later, she is up and all snuggled into my pillow.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break!
They are so cute. It's so darned hard to discipline the little kids.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet baby girl. She can bring her stinky self over here and cuddle with me anytime! :-)
ReplyDeleteHow cute! It's always a trade-off...stinky dog or cat hair? At the moment all I have is cat hair...lots of cat hair! Maybe I should start spinning with it?!
ReplyDeleteYeah I've given up on the dog on the bed thing, too. He outsmarted us and figured out that once we were asleep he could jump up on the bed and curl up with us and we wouldn't notice. I mean we'd kick him off when we woke up but he'd already been there for 7 hours so what was the point. finally we just gave in.
ReplyDeleteWe never used to let our boys sleep in the bed until one of our dogs died unexpectedly a few years ago of cancer. After that, it was pretty much what the dogs want, the dogs get, within reason.
ReplyDeleteIf this is a repeat posting, my apologies. Tried last night and Blogger and WordPress didn't seem to like each other.
Ahhh too cute. Stinky or not. Have fun on break.
ReplyDeleteOh what a great shot! I can never get the bed made with the dogs in the room, I have to close them out with the door..lol Now Lady does this at night time when going to bed..like a game she plays with Mike, always his side and won't let him in..lol
ReplyDeleteI don't know, she doesn't look too guilty to me. There's more indifference on that face and annoyance at being caught.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Abby. She really is precious.
