- still working on being patient and trying to focus on God's timing and not my own.
- needing more time to organize my home, which always helps me organize my thoughts.
- struggling with getting out of my head and put thoughts into actions.
- CGR being too sleepy and not a fan of loud noises to actually enjoy fireworks this year...maybe next year.
tail-wagging - highs
- finishing another blanket square for CGR's barn raising quilt! 18 of 48(or 56) complete
- finishing some more hexipuffs, which are highly addictive and so fun! The first 14 completed pictured below. 2 more already done! 16 done and a million to go!
- spending time at the beach with sand in my toes and sun on my skin.
- having a midweek day off to enjoy the nice weather
- getting to spend time with my family
- the "real" weekend is almost here!!!!!!!

- being patient and trying to focus on God's timing and not my own.
- seeing all the damage that has been done to our beaches by Tropical Storm Debby
- having to walk the pups in a torrential downpour because they refuse to go out in the rain without us.
- life gets busy and we often don't have time to spend with everyone we'd like to.
tail-wagging - highs
- new glasses after wearing my old ones with scratches and the wrong prescription for so long! (I used to wear contacts full time so my glasses weren't a priority, now that I do, I needed new ones!)
- spending lots of quality time at home with my little family because of TS Debby.
- having good friends and family who love me despite my crazy.
- excited about having dinner with two friends of ours, who we miss and don't see as often as we'd like.
- the simple yet complex beauty of flowers and remembering to stop and really see them.
- hearing new words come out of my daughter and understanding what she's saying!

- having to let go of the things in life that I cannot control
- CGR got an ear infection and had a couple nights she didn't really want to sleep
- not being able to be direct but doing the best I can in being a good example
- failing to say what I have needed to say.
tail-wagging - highs
- getting to cuddle, feed, play with, and love on my littlest nephew
- watching my daughter with her cousins...the pure childlike joy and love
- my daughter has started to sing and talk more. Don't always understand what she is saying but hearing her precious voice brings smiles to my heart.
- finding comfort and more peace in daily devotionals.
- handing God my worries, negativity, and letting it all go.
- finishing a pair of socks!

- needing to say something but having trouble verbalizing it
- trying to follow God's words "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
- my car is supposed to get new tires this week but since it isn't wanting to start like it should that's being put off for now.
- not enough knitting going on!
tail-wagging - highs
- watching CGR with her cousins and seeing the love she has for them
- seeing little miss CGR kiss and love on people, dolls, and even little lego men
- gaining insight and comfort from the Soul Detox devotions on YouVersion.com I found through She Reads Truth.
- finding verse after verse that I have needed to hear and bookmarking away. Especially Romans 12:9-21
- the weekend is almost here and it's potential for lots more fun times with CGR's cousins!

: still congested after several days of being sick...let's just feel better already
: balancing the regrets of past decisions with the effects of those decisions on who I am now.
: failing at thinking positively towards others who make it too easy to think negatively. (I am praying on this one...a lot!)
tailwagging - ups
: the weekend will be here this afternoon which means loads of time with my daughter
: my daughter finally feeling better after being sick for what felt like forever!
: having 2 finished knitting object to turn into classes and so close to being done with a sock for my OWL
: getting little reminders of the love I have for my husband...he's a keeper that hubby of mine!
