Pay it forward recieved....and an update.

I received my Pay It forward gift from Lisa from Plain Jane Creations. She sent some beautiful handmade stitch markers that she made. I love them. You can't really see them that great so I'll take another picture and add to this post. The card was great too. It says that Life is an adventure in giving. Thank you very much Lisa!! I loved your gift!!

This also reminds me that I really need to get my packages out. I'm a step closer. I've cut the fabric for the gifts now I just need to sew them. I hope to have them out soon.

This weekend has been spent sick and sneezing. I was feeling better by Sunday and decided to meet up with the knitting group but I could not stop sneezing. I was trying to finish the first sock for the Sock Madness and I couldn't stop sneezing to knit fast enough. I went home and took a hot shower and laid back in bed and knit. I felt better a couple hours later but I felt like all I did this weekend was be sick. Ugh. I'm glad I'm better today.

I hope everyone is doing well. I didn't podcast this weekend because of being sick but plan to this week. I'll keep you posted. :)

Pay It Forward

I got picked on Plain Jane Creations for her Pay It Forward promise. I'm very excited. This will actually be my first package from anyone in the knitting blog world. I'm still nervous to enter any swaps but plan on it once I get settled into my new house. You can still enter my Pay It Forward but I'm going to close it on August 20th and pick that day. :)

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I think today has been the best day!! I only got to knit so far for about 30 min. I'm trying to finish Flower Girl's cellphone case. Special K and I went swimming in our landlords pool, went to the driving range(my first time), and he helped me put some stuff up in my classroom. It's been a GREAT day... :)

Not sure how many people really read this blog but I really wanted to be a part of this Pay It Forward I found on Plain Jane Creations. I want to participate so if you lurk around but don't comment please comment for this one. :) So, the rules go...
