A contest for a good cause and Ravelry!!

Lapdog Creations is having a great contest over at her site. It's her first one so go check it out and it's for a great cause....Doggies!!! There are a couple ways to enter so you have tons of options. I'm planning on knitting a snuggles!!

I guess it's just going to have to get added to my list of things I want to knit. I'm thinking I need to organize all my knitting and crafting items and when I need to complete them. :) I'm thinking a whiteboard in my office would do the trick. Any ideas on how you keep track of what you plan on knitting. Those who have Ravelry...does this have a feature that will help me?? If so please let me know and...check this out...

.... I"M SO CLOSE!!!

Found you!
  • You signed up on August 6, 2007
  • You are #23449 on the list.
  • 2615 people are ahead of you in line.

Well..Happy Knitting!!

Extra creative stuff...I'm designing a t-shirt for our school team for the local SPCA's Paws on Parade walk. We sell t-shirts at school for the walk and collect money for our school's team for the walk. This year we are the Panther Pups!! I'm the captain because it was my idea to participate as a school. :) I'm very excited about the t-shirts. I'll take a picture of them when they get printed.

Last thing, I decided to try to make a center pull ball before I casted on for the second sock. Hopefully this will work. I used the directions off of knittinghelp.com

  1. I got my invite to ravelry about a month ago - and the "queue" feature is one of my favorites. It allows you to add patterns/projects to your queue - label with the yarn you want to use (if you know), the date its "due" and who its for. It's great!

I just got in to Ravelry over the weekend... it would be a good "white board" type place definitely!

  3. Yes you can keep track of your knitting and progress on Ravelry. Also keep track of your stash, find patterns quicker, and needle and hook inventory list. You'll be so freaked out when you get in. Hang on Sloopy Hang on !
