Hot cocoa with a yarn bowl.

Since it's been so cold in FL lately...and when I mean cold it's been in the 40s and 50s for weeks now, I have become addicted to hot cocoa and whip cream. I have it about every night! My sister Tammy is a huge hot cocoa fan and she did the research and discovered that Land O Lakes is the best hot cocoa out there. It's so smooth and yummy!

So, here is a picture of some hot cocoa with my sock in progress...sock has since been completed.
Here is my hot cocoa on the night of the Ravelympics mass cast on. Check out my pattern ready to go!Well...since Ravelympics started on Friday the 12th, I have gotten a lot of progress done on this cardigan. I have also pulled out my yarn bowl, which was a gift from my MIL and have been using it. Have I mentioned how much I love it? It's so pretty!I'm really enjoying knitting this cardigan and have contemplated adding sleeves but for now I'm going to hold off. I can't decide and I think I'll wear it a few times and then make a decision.

I've also been working on the Iphone mitts for my nephew Galen. I'm about to start the thumb on the first one. I just have to modify the pattern because I'm using worsted instead of fingering weight yarn.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday! Happy Ravelympics!!

  2. That cardigan is going to be great. I'm actually a big fan of the short sleeve cardigan because I like to wear long sleeves underneath. Oh, and by the way - that hot chocolate looks delish!

It has been cold. I wish I had more cold weather clothing so I could enjoy it.

  6. I have been having my share of cocoa also, though we got up to 60 degrees here in lower Oregon today. Evening Ravelympics knitting goes perfectly with hot cocoa!
