Dogs on Thursday

This is going to be quick because I'm at my tech conference. It's been great by the way. I'm learning a ton to bring back to my classroom and even implement in my exciting secret project that will be launched in February. Stay tuned for that. (hint hint)

First off don't forget to vote for our Dogs on Thursday activity!!

Ok...well, this week I'm going to share Jackjack's lovely behavior when a cat shows up in his view. This happens when he sees one outside the window or near the fence. :) Let me tell you it's lovely... Hope you enjoy. Sorry for the bad video but I took it from my cellphone during an overcast day. If I get a chance and another opportunity I will take a better shot.

Hehehehe. He is silly.

I've also been playing with my blog. If you noticed the cool progress bar on the side I got from ravelry. It will be looking even better when I get a chance to play with the code. :) Also I'm selling ad space on my blog. I know I was kind of hesitant about this one but I am going to try it for a bit and see how it goes.

Ok...got to go. We are planning on heading to dinner and the movies.

Happy Dogs on Thursday!!

PS...I'll comment and read blogs when I get back into town and have more time in front of my computer.

  1. I played that for Abby and Gus. Gus is under my chair with a worried look on his face. (He's our dominate one...geez...) Abby is making snorting sounds and hiding behind me looking to the front of the house. You know who is the Alpha male in my house?? The little 8 pound female cat. Thats who.

  2. Always nice to catch them in the act! My dogs are constantly attacking cats and birds within their view.

You do some very cool stuff with your blog, looks very interesting.

  5. The video is really cute... I am selling ad space too, I figured it will go to my yarn fund for April when I go to Arizona. I already have one person :-) I only put up two of them though, the one at the top of my blog went right away, then I put on in the middle of my side bar for a little bit less. We will see how it works :-)

  9. I'm curious about how Jackjack got his name---it's so cute!! My Boxer, Max, is 10-years-old so he's not as speedy as Lailah who is 8 months and running, bouncing, and prancing all around Max. One growl and swing of his head, though, and she backs off!
    :)

  10. Silly boy... Sissy has never seen a cat, to my knowledge. Mugsy was raised with - er, by? - three cats my roommate had, so he thinks they're just dignified dogs.

  12. I couldn't see the video very well, but the sound was so clear that Zeus snapped to attention and looked at me with his ears all perked up, wondering what was going on. Keep the videos coming.
