We met with the Pastor last week and he gave us some good suggestions for music and for the sand ceremony. I contacted the person he suggested and hopefully will hear back soon. We need to get most the details sorted out so we can start the invitation.
Ok..well that's the planning and now I get to share an FO! Yes, I finished, well, almost still need to weave in ends and block but the knitting is done on my WEDDING SHAWL!! YES, I finished it! I'm so happy with it. I made it a couple rows shorter than the pattern because I felt I was short and didn't want it to be too long and I think it will be perfect after some blocking.
So what do you think??
Cast on: 3/5/08
Finished: 6/30/08 at almost midnight. I stayed up to finish!
Pattern: Summer Lace Shawlette by Sandi Wiseheart (Ravelry link)
Yarn: di.Ve' Zenith in white
Comments: I'm glad that ripped back the times I did and I really like how easy and fast the pattern was. I recommend to anyone looking for a nice quick shawlette. Couldn't wait to take a picture and took pic in my glasses and pjs. :)
Now that I've finished I'm just waiting for SonnyandShear.com to get the yarn I want to order and then I'm going to cast on my first sweater!! YEAH!!
Happy Wedding Wednesday! Hope you are all doing well.
Beautiful - the new location, the shawl, you... Don't forget to laugh a lot and enjoy the planning process too!
